Rafael Brown is a law professor and legal scholar who has spent over a decade studying how data and technology reshape markets. He is also a real estate developer and landlord, developing and managing his own residential properties. He founded GroundTruth to replace guesswork in the local rental market with verified, on-the-ground data: collected in person, checked by hand, and published openly. His family's permanent home is in Dumaguete.
